TEA 2017
Is it a group? or Is it a team? ,
No it is an English Teacher Super Team.
What country is it come from?. It is a multinationality country
group, that ,in Bowling Green settled down.
Is it big or it is Small?, It is an extremely big team, not
in number, but yes in their capabilities, abilities, feelings, habits,
behaviors, and love for their profession, because they are teachers leading
changes in their own class, classrooms, community, and country too.
What is its best description? It
is not easy an unique description, but I´ll try one, A huge group, with cultural
differences, different religious points of view, with different colors in their
skins and their flags, different tastes
in their food, different styles in their clothes, different conceptions of the
life.
What is their favorite hobby? It
is not an easy question to answer, but I´ll try, some of them love shopping,
other love to sleep, but not to walk, one of them love to swim, drink starkbucks
coffees, and run, other only to eat chocolate, in spite of Doctor before to
come say NO. There is one that love to prepare noddles for breakfast, and use fashion caps, two of
them love to chat, discuss, have fun, and long walks around ,in spite of ,in
their country only walk from the kitchen to the living room, A dancer is in
the team too, a woman, who, loves to listen
to Jazz and Cook. There are two women, who don´t talk too much , but
they are excellent African dancers, there is one that love take selfish photo,
a man from Nepal loves to take pictures. There is a cute model, that, came here
with the hope to see her favorite actor, Jean Claude Van Dale, she is looking
for him, and sometimes she has lost looking for him. There is a Sudamerican
teacher that loves to eat fruits , specially grapes. There is one teacher, that,
loves to shop intimate clothes. A teacher from zimbawe, with special right
words, in special right moments. there is one special strong man, an example to
all teachers around the world to say, yes WE CAN, that he said, is the king, OF
COURSE HE IS, TAMBE IS OUR EXAMPLE OF KING! There is one that create a Cutombo in Bowling
green, and loves to eat with his hands. There is one that loves the Rayban
glasses, and he is looking for the best pilot glass, there is one busy , she
looks like a grumpy teacher, and that is addict to the technology.
Woao!, great differences, it is
not easy to manage, Who´s their principal leader to guide them?
Really, this is a person who has
the capability to use their wisdom
words, their humble and noble attitude to support any kind of problem, a strong
voice to stablish the rules, a huge sight to say you can, and I AM HERE, the
hearth to be confident, the ability to manage budgets, multi tasking
characteristics, a great collaborative family to give us their love and
attention as our own family too, A strong support hand helper assistants and student team, a
watch with more than 24 hours, a box of energy pills, that, she only knows the
name, with a daily agend full of amazing activities for each hour, warm hugs for cold or homesick days. This is a
woman, that, there are not many words to describe, because my dictionary
doesn´t have to describe here. Thanks Dr. Sharoon to be our EXAMPLE OF
LEADERSHIP.
Where is this TEA GROUP SETTLE
DOWN?
Well, it is easy and short to describe the
place, we are in BG university a big university, with many places to help us to
be comfortable, like our own universities, cafeterias that are our favorites
places to eat, a bookstore called union, that offered us BGSU souvenirs, a
Giant complete library, auditory to
enjoy plays, gym, swimming pool, and
long sidewalks to enjoy the snow, multiple activities daily , weekly to
enjoy, and that it has a precious treasure, excellent
professionals to teach us many topics, most of them new for us, other to be
reinforced, but pretty important for all of us , like language arts,
motivation, gender, equity and justice, communicative language techniques, discourse
analysis, critical thinking, action research, and the best techniques in
technology, with an excellent team, who has support us in any doubts till late
night hours.
Where is this university located?
In Ohio, a state, that has showed all of us
that It is INCREDIBLE OHIO, because in one day we start the day sunny, a windy air, and a suddenly snow
coming after 4 hours, to finish with a rainy night. A city which, that keep its
origins, its cultural and historic traits, that offer us a vision how U.S.A. started to
be a GREAT COUNTRY.
What is your final definition of this ENGLISH
TEACHER TEAM?
Difficult question, easy answer:
A BIG TEAM OF ENGLISH TEACHERS WITH THE COMPROMISE TO IMPROVE THEMSELVES AS A
TEACHERS, WITH THE WISHES TO COME BACK SOON TO EACH OF THEIR COUNTRIES,
COMMUNITY, SCHOOL AND FAMILIES TO SHARE
ALL KNOWLEDGE GOTTEN IN THESE 6 WEEKS: THE DEFINITIONS OF FRIENDSHIP, THE VALUE
TO BE CITIZEN ABROAD,THE IMPORTANCE TO BE TEACHER, THE IMPORTANCE OF THE
FAMILIY FOR EACH OF THEM AND FOR THEIR STUDENTS, THE REALITY OF THE EDUCATION
IN EACH COUNTRY AROUND THE WORLD AND MORE IN OUR OWN CONTEXT, THE REAL VIEW OF
DIFFERENT CULTURES ABROAD, THE IMPORTANCE TO BE RESPECTFUL, THE SENSE TO
APPRECIATE DELICIOUS FOOD, THAT, THERE ARE IN MANY COUNTRIES, AND, IN U.S.A.
THE MPORTANCE TO PROMOTE GENDER UNITY AND EQUITY IN OUR OWN SCHOOLS AND
COMMUNITY, THE CONSIDERATION ABOUT THE LGBT SOCIETY, THAT TO EXPLODE THE
CRITICAL THINKING IN OUR STUDENTS IS URGENT , THAT TECHNOLOGY IS NOT THE ONLY
TOOL TO TEACH, BUT,NOWADAYS, IT IS NECCESARY TO BE INCLUDED.THAT WE MUST
ENCOURAGE TO OUR STUDENTS READING AND WRITING SKILLS IN THE BEST FRENDLY AND
EFFECTIVE WAY. WE ARE TEACHERS, AND , WE NEED ACTION RESEARCH TO GET ANSWERS TO
MANY TOPICS THAT WE HAVE IN OUR CLASSROOM , HIGHSCHOOLS,AND COMMUNITY.
My final words:
WE ARE TEACHERS WITH THE COMPROMISE
TO BE LEADERS IN OUR COUNTRIES TO PROMOTE CHANGES.
