It has been a month fulf of interesting activities about the Black Month 1st to go to the cinema Cinemark, last January 29th. to enjoy the movie "Hideen Figures" was really a lesson, to understand black women position in our society.
A play to remind:The Winter Barrel Stories. In my opinion a marvelous experience,to go to the theater for a play that offer us to heard different accents from black origins women, really was a living experience close your eyes and feel like you are in that time, excellent narrators. This Play to celebrate Black Month too. To hear Alabama Accents, gave us the opportunity to feel we are in late 60´s or 70´s in an old Chicago. These three stories well performed were written by Eileen Cherry Chandler, and the play was show at ConradChoral Room at Wolfe Center. Ma Dear & Claude were my favorites characters. It was an incredible cold night.
